When I saw one in my yard at home on Sunday I thought I was mistaken because robins are fairly rare here. However, yesterday a flock of about 10 landed in our school yard that is set up as a nature area. Several students reporting seeing a few robins near their homes over the weekend so we are confident that some are at least passing through Jacksonville. We also saw a huge flock (over 100 birds) of ceder waxwings who congregated at our bird bath for about 15 minutes. We took pictures if you have any interest in them. It was amazing.
