Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 02/06/2005

Number: 1

Home School Science class for ages 5-7 years, has observed many American Robins the past few days here in North Texas. We see them on the prairie and in the woods. They are usually on the ground, digging and poking around. Our class was surprised to see them in both the woods and prairie. The Robins make a kind of "sqawking" sound. We also see Cedar Waxwings with the Robins. They do not look alike at all. They do not sound alike, either. Robins seem to be everywhere. We are wondering if we will still see them here in the summer.
