Nine male Robins observed on the 8th of Feb., 3pm. Three were foraging on the ground by Riverway Trail along the New River in Radford, and six were perched in trees near the robins on the ground. Four of the six were singing whisper songs.
Nine were also seen at the same location on the 9th, seven males and two females. All of these were foraging on the ground.
Temperatures both days were around 60 F.
On the 10th, no robins were present. A strong cold front had pushed through the area and temperature was around 32 F and there were strong snow flurries.
At the same location on Feb. 11th there were 10 Robins, and on the 12th there were 13.
