At 12:50 A.M. today 7 robins were seen on a grasy edge of a field, that fronts a stand of trees, across from a line of houses on a street that was only put in a couple of years ago. All the birds were on the ground, although there were young trees nearby. Some 4 weeks ago, before I received JN's note about tracking robins, I'd seen 6 in the same general area. that was one week after the large snow storm that hit the northest.
