I had noticed a group of cedar waxwings in a tree across the road, when I saw a different bird join them, then a little later the waxwings flew off and the strange bird was joined by about 10 or so others, who, upon further binocular work I realized were robins! This is very early! We've had wintering robins here in past years, but not this year, so these seem to be migrating birds.
We have had some warmer than usual weather here lately, upper 30's. Tropical!
