There were two robins, both feeding. The weather was clear and 75 degrees. One Robin stood very still for the longest time regardless of how close I went to it. stayed in the same area (30 sq feet) for several hours. I noticed the next morning what appeared to be the same robin in the same basic area of the yard. I walked very close to the bird and it's only attempt to increases distance from me was by walking. I thought maybe this bird was injured, although it looked healthy . It was very bright in color and of good size. Regardless of how close I went to the bird it would only walk or run from me. Then a Mocking bird charged the Robin and it flew off.
