We went out to check the ground and air temperature today and saw that 1 tulip had emerged. A week later 6 tulips have emerged. The warmer the air temperature gets the warmer the ground temperature gets. We still have 0 degree celsius days, but we have also had some 20 degree celsius days.The ground temperature has been getting warmer in the last 2 weeks. The ground temperature is between 8 and 5 degrees celsius now. We predicted that when the ground temperature went up the tulips would emerge. We are correct.
