Yesterday, after seeing numerous male Red-winged Blackbirds in our school courtyard and on the playground I sighted my first ever female red-winged blackbird. I went to my field guide to confirm the sighting.
We have also had huge flock of Yellow warles here at our school. The kids love to watch the birds from our classroom window.
