I reported three monarch caterpillars spotted this weekend but don't think it got recorded so
I'm putting it in again. I have very little milkweed but have found two very large caterpillars and one small one on the milkweed. They were brought inside and will be raised to adults.
There are quite a few eggs on the milkweed but not many leaves so I will have to hunt for some in the neighborhood. I don't know if the monarch butterfies were overwintering or if they might
have migrated from the south as I didn't see any during the previous months.
