We had just started digging out after about a foot of snow accompanied by high winds blew through our area yesterday. I was out on our deck shoveling and I first heard a robin chirping. Then I saw him in a tree just before he flew away. It seemed strange to see a robin with 5 ft. drifts and no bare ground any where. The temp at the time was 18 degrees. The poor thing should have listened to 'Phil' and stayed south a little longer.
