This is a report from the North Dakota Rare Bird Alert Hotline. This is the first report I have seen of red-winged blackbirds on the Hotline this spring.
"I took a trip to Alice just after noon today (3/6). At a farm at the junction of Cass 6 and 7 there were about 50 rusty blackbirds and 3 red-winged blackbirds."
