Even though it is still cold here in northern Indiana. Spring must be coming. I saw a large group of what appeared to be starlings last night (perhaps a couple hundred). When the starlings' chatter subsided, I could hear an occasional red-wing song. This morning I made a positive identification of one sitting on a wire.
