We observed a bald eagle eating on the frozen pond about 2 miles from our home. We are not sure whether he had pulled a fish from an ice fishing hole that had stayed open or if ice fishermen had left bait on the ice. That could have attracted the bird also. All of our lakes and ponds are still frozen at this time.
