Ka-Ching has arrived, cocky and singing as he attempts the difficult task of feeding from my smallest birdfeeder, his favorite! One of his sons, perches on the top pipe of the dog run trying to figure out how to copy Dad as the feeder whirls and swings. The red wing blackbirds have returned! Spring can't be far behind! Ka-Ching is quite a character, his habits make him stand out around our yard. This is the 4th year, I've noticed his peculiar antics! Wonder how long blackbirds live?
