As the sun rose on Sunday, the first robin of the season fluttered down for a drink from the birds basin. His chest seemed nearly pastel. He looked to be in good shape as he aggressively chased off song sparrows and the fierce KaChing, resident red winged blackbird. Spring is getting closer, hope he can survive on crabapples until the 6" of snow recedes a bit.
