I witnessed a continual stream of what appeared to be Monarchs, crossing the road as I was driving home at 2:00 PM today. They continued with the same intensity for the entire 5 miles I drove from my first sighting until I reached home. I sat in the driveway & watched as they continued to passing over my yard & house, in a steady stream and were still going when I finally went inside. The butterflies were heading in a N-NW direction. It was 67 degrees (car thermometer) the wind was 7 mph from the West (checked weather.com) mostly cloudy skies. It was an amazing sight!
