I observed a redwing blackbird flying over our yard today, March 20. There were 3 birds flying together, but I caught sight of the red wing patches of only one. Our wetland ponds are still frozen over. The 4 inch snowfall from two days ago is melting very quickly with today's high of 38 degrees Fahrenheit.
