I am sending you the American Robin portion of a quarterly report for the
Gustavus area that I write for the Alaska bird records coordinator. This is
from this winter's report (2004/2005). Obviously, we do not expect to see
robins here in the winter, so this was an unusual year.
American Robin (Turdus migratorius)
On 12/11, one American Robin was observed near the town school.
On 1/2, six American Robins were observed near the golf course.
On 1/17, four American Robins were observed flying from west of the Salmon
River near the beach towards the center of town.
On 2/12, one American Robin was observed on the shore in Bartlett Cove near
Cooper's Notch.
On 2/18, one American Robin was observed near the airport.
On 2/20, one American Robin was observed near Rink Creek.
