Finally heard a robin singing today - March 21. It was singing rather weakly in mid-morning in Fairfield,CT.. It has been a long, raw winter here.
Incidentally, I was mapping a roosting site for long-eared owl when I heard the robin. Using the coordinates which TopoZone supplies when you mark a spot on one of their maps, the robin was within 100 yards southeast of 41° 07' 28" N and 73° 15' 40" W
