I was at my son's t-ball game when I saw my first monarch. I didn't get to see it up close, so I don't know what kind of condition it was in.
This was the first Monarch I've seen since the very end of November. I did have another Monarch visit my garden 2 days later (3/29/05). She was laying eggs on my milkweed. She was faded and in fairly good condition.
