Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 03/26/2005

Number: 1

Since about 11am this morning while at an Easter event, we were amazed at the hundreds of butterflies heading north. We are at home and it is 3pm and they are still heading north, we have literally seen thousands fly overhead and down the hill. We live on a hill and they are flying all around our home. It is approx. 72 degrees, the wind is from the west and the sky is clear, a beautiful day.

We hope this small bit of information helps in your tracking efforts. We are loving every minute of their migration.
