First time I have ever seen hundreds of monarchs flying overhead non-stop in migration. I haved lived in Mission Viejo for three years and this is the first sighting I've seen here. I also have family in Yorba Linda and they saw the Monarchs pass through a couple hours after I sighted them here. Not as many were in Yorba Linda though. They are obviously flying North and I assume heading to the Pacific Grove area of central California where I know they land by the thousands.
