I submitted a sighting report of what I thought were Monarch butterflies earlier. I was able to catch one of them and take pictures. After comparing my pictures to available pictures on the web, I have to retract my earlier submission. The swarm of butterflies I observed are NOT Monarchs. They are Painted Ladies.
