We were driving south on the coast highway from Del Mar, CA to La Jolla, Ca past Torrey Pines State Park. The butterflies filled the air around us and we were afraid to hit them with our car. They travelled North in clumps of three or four and singly. They were an awesome sight. What an exciting drive! They were just everywhere.
