Just a quick note to note the passing (literally) of a
single Monarch at the "Lost Pines" Biology Station today. It was about 30 feet and making major headway to the northeast.
As near as I can tell it never even came close to the
ground...
Eight years of records put this single sighting 7 days
later than my average "first" date of Mar. 18th. (Iguess
my average will be later next year!)
