My husband spotted a bald eagle on the way home from work.I believe it was soaring in the ari when he saw it ,and then he pulled over to confirm the sighting.Bald eagles are known to nest in this area(southwestern VA), but we had not seen any for ourselves since we moved here three years ago.So this was pretty exciting!
