I spotted my first pair of gold finches singing in the tall yet leafless red maple outside my living room window this morning. A few moments later my first pair of doves flew into the Northern Catalpa (Cigar Tree) in my next door neighbors yard next to our driveway. I am getting feeders ready for the return of my rubythroat hummingbirds which should take place in about 3 weeks.
