This is the first time I have ever seen Monarch Butterflies in the San Fernando Valley in such numbers. I am seeing hundreds flying across the roads. Today is the first day I have seen them. I have lived here for 12 years. The only other time I have seen this was 12 years ago when I was driving cross country on I10 going through Palm Springs, CA.
