I saw my first monarch of the season fly by my office window at 1:05 this afternoon. A couple of my students told me in class this morning that they had seen one yesterday and one today on campus. I wasn't able to determine if it was a male or female, but it did look faded like those that have spent the winter in Mexico. I've got lab this afternoon, but I might have to cancel it. Oops, there goes another one by the window. Gotta run.
