This was the first bald eagle I've seen in our area--indeed, the first I've ever seen outside a zoo. It was AMAZING! I've been told that there are some in nearby Skaneateles, so I'm very excited to have them here. It swooped down about 20 feet above our car and then flew off above the trees to our right. It was the most magnificent sight!
