Today is the first day I have witnessed Monarchs in the Lakeway area on Lake Travis just outside of Austin. All afternoon I noticed them in our city park, all over our backyard and many heading north across the lake, there was probably a total of around 30. The winds must have been blowing in the right direction for them!
