Today I have seen approximately 60 monarchs butterflies....but, I am not certain if they are monarchs or painted ladies. Although I reside in a densely-populated urban area, my property is on a creek with a copse of 150ft. eucalyptus trees. The butterflies are abundant in this area every year.
