I have been hearing the robins early in the morning for about a week but have yet to see the first one. Saturday morning while standing out on the front porch watching the latest spring snow storm covering all my emerging bulbs and perennials, I saw my first robin hopping through the base of the shrubs looking for its morning meal. Even with the landscape carpeted in snow once again, he was a very welcoming sight.
