We are watching two eagles tending to the unborn. Hatching date is supposed to be 4/4/05. I have just started tagging along with an avid birder. Therfore, my lingo is in a pre-school stage. What an awesome experience to see the female fussing about the outside edges of the nest prior to her mates arrival. Only for her to fly to a nearby tree to observe the males tending of the nest. I would really like to be directed to a site where I can get a more in depth education of the behavior patterns of the eagles as they are sitting the nest. Excuse my lingo, I am using terms I would about chickens from farm lviing.
