Heard a loon hoot and loon yodeling at sunset on Lake Ripley, but it and/or they were on the other side of the point, so I couldn't see it/them, I went out this morning, but only heard a hoot, no sighting yet. I'll be looking for them tonight again. Ice went out in the morning, and loons in the lake by evening! Saw a few on Lake Monona in Madison off of the bike path last Thursday, 3/31.
