Finally, we saw them; a pair of robins in our back yard. They spent a bit of time here last Monday afternoon (March 28). We also had a Magpie visit for about an hour. While it is a pesty bird, and can be a noisy squacker, I really like the look of the magpie. Such a unique and odd looking bird for our area anyway. What I love about them is the glimmering irridescant body and the long sweeping lines of the tail.
Anyway back to our robins. They came to the yard, and were hopping around for awhile as if looking for earthworms.- still pretty cool here tho'....
then through the week - I haven't seen them again.
