FINALLY! Our tulips bloomed today in the Children's Learning Garden with warm, sunny temperatures into the 60s, more like spring. Previous days were cold and rainy, or sunny, windy & cool. These blooms are 2 to 4 weeks later than previous years' bloom dates, which we have been keeping track of since 1998. These tulips were planted earlier and emerged earlier than any of the previous years, yet kept us waiting and waiting to bloom. The long wait is over!
