This past Saturday, April 2, during a 2-hour bike ride I observed 4 monarchs, all worn and presumably migrants. The butterflies were flying low to the ground as if in search of hosts. The following day, Sunday, April 3, while on another 2-hour bike ride I observed 3 monarchs. Two were very worn, one not. All were flying within 30 feet of the ground.
