Actually, there were four robin sightings on March 31. We have had a
stormy spring and some late snows. It seemed that the robins and the
hummingbirds were coming our way early, but then there was a cold snap
and snow storm, so they went to ground, I guess. But as soon as it
warmed up, here they came. They are early this year. Most of our
signs of spring seem to be on the early side this year. We did not
have any overwintering robins this year. Yesterday, one of our
teachers heard a robin singing.
