We saw one Monarch today in our yard. It looked a bit faded as best I could see. It flew away as I tried to get closer.
We have milkweed growing in a natural state here on the farm as well as beds that we have moved closer to the house. We have not checked the "back forty" for milkweed this spring, but do not see any up yet here at the house. Where would a Monarch come from at this early date?
