April came in like a lamb followed by a snowstorm and area flooding. I have seen both Honey Bees and Bumble Bees outside, fortunatley. Digging in the garden there are earthworms squiggling around. The Eagles are on the nest along the river and a Red-wing Blackbird arrived at the feeder this morning. My husband also heard Peepers the other day,so I guess there will be 3 more frost before it's safe to plant. One interesting note, the small lettuce plants from last fall came through the winter and are growing.
