Finally!! Tulips are up in the Journey North garden. Deep frost with little snowcover this year slowed their emergence, but after a week of unseasonally warm weather they popped out.
They were growing but I couldn't see because it was all happening underground! The bulbs sent their first leaves up through 6" of soil to get to the top.
