We left for Spring Break on 3/24/05 and the snow was around 12 inches deep. Students stopped by to see the garden on 3/26/05 and witnessed the first emerged leaves. Many were still covered with snow. We all returned on 4/4/05 and all tulips were up. The snow was completely gone. Now our tallest plant is 7 inches. Today (4/11/05) was the first day we could see a flower bud inside the two leaves. We have measured our own plants daily. We are also sketching and writing about the changes.
