Raining again today but got in a very brief visit to
the Pend-d'Oreille
River valley yesterday. Spring is happening with
sundry deciduous trees and
shrubs leafing out. Butterflies in flight:

Western Azure - Celastrina echo nigrescens
Mourning Cloak - Nymphalis antiopa
Satyr Anglewing - Polygonia satyrus
Stella Orangetipe - Anthocharis stella
Cabbage Bug - Pieris rapae
Silvery Blue - Glaucopsyche lygdamus
Western Elfin - Deciduphagus iroides
Two-banded Checkered Skipper - Pyrgus ruralis
