Finally, after a long wait I found ONE lone Barn Swallow flying over the area where I band birds today. It was just ahead of a small flock of Tree Swallows. I guess, being so busy banding that I am just not seeing all that flies over these days, thus missing the swallow migration. I would say this is a late swallow as it seems migration is early this year and just about over already! No robins anywhere now.
