A reliable observer saw a Monarch in east Wichita on April 11. I have not
seen one yet myself, although, as others have noted, Red Admirals are out.
I have also seen Spring Azures and a couple different sulphurs. A
newly-emerged Polyphemus moth came crawling up our sidewalk last week too.
Spring has sprung!
