Found rabbit parts beneath the hawk's nest tonite, carefully sectioned off. Must be at least one hatchling. Sat on the park bench overlooking the gulley, listening a mockingbird invent a whole aviary's worth of birdsongs. His songs were a blend of various robin, sparrow, bluebird, squeaks, chitters, scolding - he was very entertaining! Now how would a Mrs. Mockingbird figure out which bird he really was? Dry weather continues, no rain predicted till next Wednesday if then. Trees and bushes are leafing out. It seems so nice to see green everywhere!
