Barn Swallow (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/06/2005

Number: 1

For the past eight years a pair of barn swallows have nested in the corner of a window at my office on Lake Monroe. About 10 a..m. this morning I heard some chittering and went to see three of them swooping in and out of the same corner. If memory serves they tend to hang around an area checking it out for a few days before actually getting down to nesting.
