The monarchs have arrived in Memphis this past week. On Thursday a large, old female flew across my windshield and then fluttered around my car. A friend on mine who also raises butterflies has caught 6-7 females who were laying on her 3 inch common milkweed. Sadly 2 had to be destroyed because they were covered with OE. The others though were free of the disease.
