Our tulips bloomed! We saw ten flowers on Monday and by Friday 4/15 there were 43 flowers and more buds. Our temperatures had been in the forties and low fifties but rose into the sixties over the weekend and this week we are expecting the temperatures to reach 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Today, 4/18 almost all of the buds have opened and the garden looks spectacular. We are sorry not to have reported last Mon but we are also watching our bluebird boxes and there was also activity (nesting bluebirds in two boxes and chickadees in two boxes) that we have been monitoring. So much happens in the Spring.
